Hi guys,

I'm just looking for fic for a really rare Harry Potter pairing. Even ff.net, which has a couple of hundred thousand fanfics posted, only has an entire three of this one!

So if anyone here has ever seen any Millicent Bulstrode/Vincent Crabbe fic could you please let me know?

Thanks muchly.

EDIT: Also, why won't commenting show up on my journal? There's no link to comment or whatever else. Is that the default?

I am avidly curious: how did you come to be interested in that pairing to begin with!? (and I'm not trying to bait you, it sounds like a perfectly fine pairing to me, it just... wow, rare!)

A writer named excessivelyperky used it as a background pairing in her genfic opus The Birthday Present (850,000 words and it's still a WIP!) and I've been completely obsessed with it ever since.

I can't find any anywhere so I've taken to writing it myself.

Well, writing it yourself has advantages, but I hope you get lucky and find some. I know how nice it is to have that moment of revelation reading someone else's fic. When stories are rare, even bad writing will do... the frission of happiness will come regardless. I personally have not seen any, but I will keep this post curled up in the back of my head if any come across my path in the next few weeks.

Well, I've poked around quite a bit in all the rarepair comms on LJ (some of which I didn't know existed until yesterday) and gone through all of the entries there. Unless they're locked, the one I was linked yesterday and a drabble by the same author are the only fics on LJ!

I just got a message from excessivelyperky. I left her a message saying she's inspired me and she offered to beta for me. :D

I'm pretty sure I've seen this pair quite a bit as a secondary or tertiary pairing. I can try and dig some up if non-primary will do.

That'd be absolutely fantastic and I'd love you forever. :)

No guarantees, but I'll poke around a bit tomorrow—I know I've seen it, dammit!

Not normally.

But if you go under Edit... Personal Info & Settings, make sure "Enable message boards" is checked. I suspect that's the problem.

Thanks! That was the problem after all.

I found this one through Fiction Alley Park's cruisin' board: BBW. I haven't read it, but I have enjoyed some of Anguis' Goyle/Bulstrode in the past.
