To be honest, I got part way through and gave up. I'm willing to slog through Victor Hugo - he has gorgeous nuggets hidden in his molasses prose - but as near as I can tell her thesis was "Fiction hurts reality" and was entirely unsupported.

I was going to parody a Neil Diamond song with Gaiman-related lyrics. Then I realized that the only one I can remember is "Skybird" from Jonathan Livingston Seagull, because I had the sheet music as a child. (The most important thing for choosing one's piano reperetoire is not quality, but whether the song is easy to play.) And I won't inflict that on anyone. Also, it's way too obscure.
