Hackathon?
So, Metaquotes on LJ has been hacked and the comm flooded with gross images.

Apparently it's spreading to other comms. Anyone know any other places that have been hit, aside from Metaquotes?

How was it hacked? It looks like a troll, to me. Is there some hidden drama with stolen emails or backstabbing mods that we're missing? Because that would make this interesting.

I really don't think anyone "hacked" the comms in question - they merely spammed them with their annoying stuff, which you can probably do just fine if the comm has open posting and you have a client or something with which to accomplish the mass posting.
