Barak Berkowitz has stepped down as Six Apart Chairman and CEO.

According to local oddsmakers:

1:3 - Imminent Death Of LiveJournal Predicted. Again.

1:2 - Wizard Of Oz references from fans. ("Ding, dong, the witch is dead.")

2:1 - Claims that Berkowitz was ousted for screwing with LiveJournal.

4:1 - Wailing that someone who was in charge of the Professional Division (read: making money) is taking over.

10:1 - Calls for Brad Fitzpatrick to come back and take over Six Apart.

I was wondering if I'd imagined that post having comments at one point. I guess not. They should have just left comments on and turned their notifications off, it's just going to look shifty to the paranoid that they got rid of them after the fact.
