	On Toonami/Adult Swim they usually keep them or translate and dub the song. Like Naruto has the Japanese opening while the new One Piece has a dub version of the Japanese song. It's becoming more common. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	I only saw 5 minutes of it because I'm still mad at Oda for Water 7 but it seemed to be closer to the source material, they upped the TV rating, and the fans on ANN and AOD seemed to like it better. (Reply to this)(Parent)

My first reaction was "far out, they subtitled the theme songs!" I've never seen that in a dub before. I don't watch much anime, are theme songs sometimes subbed in dubs? I was also, "hooray!" first time I heard Light's name pronounced. I was bracing myself for someone to say, "ya-GAH-mi" and they didn't.

I'm not liking Light's voice and I'm kinda on the fence about Ryuk. I thank the dubbing gods for giving Sachiko a pleasant voice. Now I want to see how Matsuda's gonna sound.
