Watching Star Wars is like getting drunk. Normal enough behavior provided that you don’t overdo it. Playing Dungeons and Dragons is like experimenting with pot in college. Less people have tried it, but still enough that you could be considered a normal human being.

I think he's got it backwards. D&D and fanfiction are about even on the nerdiness scale, it's just that gaming is a guy thing and fanfiction is a chick thing. The only difference is the color of your bong.

I, of course, both RP and write fanfic, and occasionally write fanfic about the RP. My bong is about as rainbow as a Dumbledore icon.

Erm,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is Skippy - you know, internet celeb and generally funny person - and the only thing he's complaining about is people abusing his Skippy's List for their own porny fanfic purposes. Without his permission.

Obviously he's never heard of Rule 34, but I'd say he's got a pretty decent point there.
