Fanfic question
I've had an AU plotbunny bouncing around in my head for a while now. In a nutshell, it's a Sailor Moon/DC comics crossover in which the Senshi are DC comics heros teaming up for the usual throwdown with some big evil. They become Senshi only in the latter part of the fic.

My friends suggest using second tier or lesser known DC characters and I like the idea. So . . .

Ami - Blue Beetle (Ted Kord version, more or less)

Minako - Booster Gold

Jupiter - ? (I'm thinking either Black Canary or Power Girl)

Rei - Zantana

Usagi - ? (I'm thinking of Supergirl, if only because I'm thinking of casting her as a reporter for the school paper, though the Question might also work) Another option is that she doesn't really show up except for the Senshi bit.

Mamorou -? (I wanted him to be Batman as they both have similar qaulities, and because of the Bat/Supes slash jokes, but they shot that idea down. Martian Manhunter also got shot down)

Any suggestions?

	Yeah, but Jade's powers came more from the Starhart, rather than a ring. She only wore one for a bit while dating Kyle until he became Ion and turned her powers back on. On the other hand, it does sort of fit with the subplot of what happened to the original Justice League. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Power girl has a very distinctive . . . physical presence, shall we say. Usagi doesn't have that outside of Hentai and even then, its usually the other girls with those attributes. It might. A John Constantine-esque type might also work. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ah, good point. I wasn't thinking about the physical bodies of the characters. I thought of Power Girl just because of her costume and the fact that she's a blonde. I have to confess, I like anime, but know next to nothing about anime fandoms or how to write for them. I'm just throwing out ideas here. :) (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	My thinking (And YMMV): Moon: Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark) Mercury: Ravager Mars: Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) Jupiter: Big Barda Venus: Liberty Belle Tuxedo Mask: Superboy (Kon-El) or if you still wanted to go the mysterious/brooding route Nightwing or Robin. (Reply to this)

Usagi: My first inclination is Supes, but I also though of Amethyst.
Ami: What about Aquagirl?
Rei: Personally, I think she would make a spectacular Raven from the comics.
Makoto: What about Lightning Lass for Makoto?
Minako: Possibly Saturn Girl from the Legionnaires? *resolutely ignores the wrong planet title*
Mamoru: Hehe. I like Mamoru as Batman.

Just a few suggestions! You might look here for more possibilities!
