Joss & SMG
Curiosity begs me to ask:

Was there a falling out between Joss Whedon and Sarah Michelle Geller? If so, any details? Or speculation?

I read that she was apparently divatastic on the set of Buffy. Here's some links that I managed to dig up - just put "Sarah Michelle Gellar diva" or the like into Google and see what comes up.
Fametracker Audit

I do remember hearing a report that she and Joss Whedon had had a falling out, but I can't seem to find it.

I heard that the whole cast of Buffy hated her and that Freddie Prinz Jr threatened James Marsters with violence at some point, but that last bit sounds a bit too crazy to be true.

And then I I got curious and found this:

and this:
http://www.whedon.info/David-Boreanaz-furious-with-Sarah.html

Both probably blown way out of proportion, but the actors seem to at least be a bit irritated with her by the end for various reasons. I don't know if that extends to Joss, but he may have been bothered for the same reason Boreanaz was, because I know he had wanted to make a TV movie after the show ended.

From your second link:
Angel spunk David Boreanaz

Um...

Nope, not going there, nuh-uh, no way, no how.

I think I heard it was something similar to what happened with Veronica Mars; a disgruntled former employee made it all up after they got fired.

He always seemed rather fond of her on the DVD commentaries, but he would probably be too classy to say anything if there was bad blood.

He's supposed to be in the new season of Torchwood next year too.

James Marsters and John Barrowman on the same small screen together.

... I'll be in my bunk.

Along with most of the female population of the UK.
And a fair amount of the male.

Pretty much. I'm fairly certain my housemates will spontaneously combust, anyway.

"England burned to the ground during Dr. Who, France rejoices."

Then two days later:

"Europe wiped off the map, Joss Whedon gains permanent smirk"

Ahem.

It's a little old, but this quote has me rolling every time I read it:

IGN TV: Marsters actually said about his appearance on Torchwood that it will, and I quote, "Titillate some to the point where they will have to finish themselves off."

Barrowman: Oh yes, they will. In fact, both of us, in our own respective moods and manners, he went off with his girlfriend and I went back to my place and we finished ourselves off. It was one of the hardest sequences, it took 12 hours to shoot. It was one of the most unexpected thing that you can imagine happening. And it happens. And yes, there will be people flicking their beans or whatever.
