I think this speaks for itself.
Hello, I'm William Shatner and I'm a shaman.

ETA: I found it dubbed over in German, just in case you were wondering if that existed (which I wasn't).

There's a Mr. T one as well. They are both awesome.

I find that I love everything Shatner does these days, regardless of quality, substance or intent. I hope they do more of these, though. I want Carrot Top in one. I feel like that's the only way to top Shatner and T.

Even the bran fiber commercials were pretty hilarious.

YES! And then I want Shatner, Mr. T and Bruce Campbell to do a TV show together where they fight crime. Because that would be awesome.

Yes!

And they can live in a lair with a sunken lounge and brown carpeting, and have robots in ninja masks handing them cocktails in between missions.

And Bruce can be the wacky one who's always trying out new weapons, and T can redo that plane thing, only with motorbikes too, and Shatner sings sometimes just after they put the baddies away.

OMG yes! He just sort of reaches offscreen and brings back a microphone and starts singing into it, while all the characters whose lives they just save gaze at him with sparkly eyes and the other two roll their eyes as if to say, "Oh, you." BRILLIANT!

I don't, only because he could probably actually convince me to play an MMORPG again. He's just that awesome.

I heard that Verne Troyer is going to be in one. xD

Also, I agree with you about Shatner. :D

I read an article that said that part of Shatner's appeal these days is that he's willing to reinvent himself and change. He has fun with what he does. Personally, I think nothing is so much fun as his rant on his homeland.

I AM CANADIAN!

I think a lot of his appeal is his willingness to make fun of himself and the fact that he purposefully became a characature of himself. And this video is brilliant.

Of the two, I particularly like the Shatner one. Mostly because I believe he refers to himself as "the Shat." I laughed. And, it's William Shatner in a robe. Sadly, I think of him more as Denny Crane now than James T. Kirk. e.e;

I think of him as himself. He doesn't have characters. They're all just William Shatner traveling between universes.
