looking for LJ user blocking
Is there a Firefox add-on and/or a Greasemonkey script that will killfire (delete) a person's posts from an flist or a community? I've found a few that will kill comments, but not actual posts. And no, it's not a case of "just unfriend them already", I don't have them friended; I just don't want to be looking at some people's community posts.

I tried that one, and it didn't work for me. It would kill comments, but not posts. :/ I'll try the ones you linked to above, though I do like my Flexible Squares, hmm. Thank you though!

I fiddled with it a while back to make it work with Flexible Squares.

TotalOblivion is what I use.

And you said "posts", not comments. Hell, I don't know if there is one like that.

I was looking for one for killing comments, so thanks for posting. Unfortunately, it does not seem to play nicely with lj thread unfolder.

Are you using the unfolder with the "Unfold All" option? That's what I use and it works great for me. Unfortunately, the "Unfold All" option doesn't seem to play well with JournalFen....

I've got the non-"unfold all" version because I use it primarily for Journalfen. The wank comms have much longer threads than anywhere else I read. I think I'll deal with the unfolder as it is until I'm less riled up, then switch off/uninstall total oblivion.

There's a way to do it with custom theme layers if you're a paid user.

You mean the one that works with Expressive? (I guess it comes down to which I can stand least.)

It should work with any S2 style, but you may need to get help from that style's community to tweak the code to fit. You should look at S2flexisquares on LJ to see if you can find it through the tags.

I know I once asked them for help getting it to display collapsed headers on there, so if the code hasn't changed since then there may be something to copy.

Echoing above commenter-- if you have a paid account, you can edit your theme layer so the posts won't show up. I've only used this one so far, which is for Flexible Squares, but there are others for Smooth Sailing, Opal, and apparently this works for Generator, Clean and Simple, Classic, Punquin Elegant, Tabular Indent, and Magazine. Possibly Boxer and Component as well.
