The Blackwell list of worst-dressed celebrities came out today and blah blah Fergie and Posh Spice and so on. Ho-hum if you ask me. Then I get to the bottom.

Alison Arngrim?

As in Nellie Oleson? The Prairie Bitch herself?

One of these things is not like the other. Besides which it's more fun to pick on Carrie Ingalls, who can't walk without tripping much less comprehend couture.

Slander! Like all Slytherins, Nellie Oleson know how to dress!

And if she appears poorly-dressed, why, it's merely to catch 'Manzo and she has her own reasons, you... prairie chicken!

I found The List with all of Blackwell's comments on why each was chosen.

Aww. He left Britney alone. I think that's kinda sweet, actually.

Yeah, I've always thought he was a class act, just more proof.

Mr. Blackwell realizes Britney could be dead before he is.

Hah. I thought his picture at the top was the first person to top the list on worst dressed not his actual biographical photo...

Of course this is silly of myself since men can never be anything less than impeccably dressed, obviously but it makes me sad, because I really really want to see lists of men badly dressed with snarky comments to along with it.

Hikaru no Go fandom doesn't count. ;>.>

There are a few pictures of Jude Law that beg to differ. :D

Here and here, just to name a couple. I'm not sure who encouraged him to wear silly scarves with unbuttoned shirts, but he should probably fire them.

No lists, but here's some snark from the sports end of the celebrity pool. Curt Schilling didn't get the memo about flannel not being semi-formal.

Now that's just sillypants. Nellie Olson was cute as hell on whatever nostalgia commentary I saw her on - she was wearing a skull sweater that I coveted.

I think Nellie's mama would like a word with Mister Blackwell.

I hated Carrie Ingalls. Despite being a real person or something, whiny little brat.

That makes me wonder if she was just a quick replacement for Britney, as kind of a joke between the two. That said, it's still funny :)

Oh heck yes.

Also, now I'm remember that Barbara Mandrell not only won one year, but demanded the statue. I had to like her for that.

My ten-year-old self never would have believed that Nellie Oleson would become my favorite town girl.

Also, Nellie, you little hussy, if Percival told you to go to a hootenanny, you would have. And you would have liked it!
