Web Comic Pimp
SideQuests just hit its 100th comic. Using action figures, Seanmonster(on LJ and IJ) has a hilarious sense of humor and blames fandom for most of what he writes. Apparently, we amuse him. *grins*

Mostly focusing on Square Enix figures(primarily FFVII) with a lot of guests(such as My Little Ponies and ninjas).

If you like it enough to message him, remember, tell him threesomes solve everything. *running joke based of The Count of Monte Cristo*

I had trouble choosing between Lobot and his Funky Chicken and Jay and Silent Bob doin' the Snake, because I am not paid and thus only have ten icon spaces. Lobot won by a hair.

Also, this comic has done more than fandom or people I know personally ever have toward making me curious about FF7. If nothing else, the clothes totally weird me out.

You want odd clothing, check out FFXII. That's some freaky stuff.

But FFVII is fun, and those are all Advent Children figures, which was the movie that came out a few years ago for FFVII.

And he continues to collect more. And get donations.

Oh, I'm sure it is. I didn't mean that as a knock against the game or the people who like it. I'm not much of a gamer, so most of what I know about Final Fantasy I've learned through Journalfen--there's this series of games called Final Fantasy, one of them has a villain named Sephiroth, and some of his fans are ca-razy.

After a few strips, my inner academic feminist started looking at Seph and Cloud and going, "You know, I think this may be the first time I've seen a fantasy series where the male characters have just as much strangely and gratuitously revealing clothing as the female characters. I must look into this further." And even without knowing much about the game, I still totally want those figures, because they are awesome.

Yeah, those figures are -awesome-. *coughs* I got down and play with them on occasion. Cause, you know, it's fun.

Still waiting for a Zack figure to come out. *pounces* He's my favorite character in FFVII, and he's only got a bit part.
