Searching for fic
Is there anybody who can recommend some really good Pride and Prejudice fic? I've been looking through Republic of Pemberley and fanfiction.net, but I can't really find anything nice. I would really like to read something in which the spirit of the novel is faithfully preserved.

I think Joan Aiken has some kind of a Sue problem, because Eliza's Daughter is even worse. I would go so far as to say there's more Suage than anything except Earth's Children.

Me too! I loved all of that series. But Eliza is pretty damn special. Her childhood friends are ... I forget which poets. Coleridge and - Whitman?
