How is this not here yet?
Indiana Jones and the Legend of the Crystal Skull!!!!!!!!!!

The part where he's using the whip to swing for the car.....and misses...makes me giggle every time I watch this

Also from Yahoo! Movies: Star Trek delayed until Summer '09

So much win...and fail...in one day. ~puts on Scotty's accent~ I canna take anymore, cap'n! ~goes back to watching Indy~

Oh wow, prior to today and this post I had no desire to see the new Indy film. Now? Eee! Looks like some good fun happy time. That is to say, I am now looking forward to seeing the movie.

And it comes out on my brother's b-day. Too bad he's in another state or I'd "treat" him. Then again I can just pretend he's there.

Thanks for the linkage.

Man. I had serious reservations about the new Indy movie. I loved the hell out of all the others (and am in fact going to buy them on DVD finally this weekend) and I was worried that they were just trying to milk the franchise. But it looks good and I can't help but smile when I hear that famous theme come up.

Even if the trailer looked like crap I think I'd have to smile at the theme. Thankfully, this doesn't look like crap.

Confession time, however: I've never actually seen the first two films. Last Crusade was watched constantly in my house growing up, but my parents hated Temple of Doom and just didn't think Raiders was worth re-watching. So...I think I need to bump some movies to the top of my Netflix Queue...

I've got a love/hate relationship with Temple of Doom myself. Part of me really likes it, in part because it was the first Indy movie that I ever could watch all the way through (Raiders scared me a lot when I was a little kid). But part of me would rather watch Last Crusade and Raiders because I think that they're better movies overall, or at least more entertaining.

Word. I also have a Pavlovian-type reaction to that theme. Damn you, John Williams!

Shadow on the car. INDY SILHOUETTE MOMENT OMG! *squee*

And the chase, that wouldn't be the storage place where the Ark was 'filed' at the end of Raiders, would it? Could it? *gets hopes up*

Also, it looks like Operation Paperclip is in full swing. Really sucks when the guys you used to punch out have been given amnesty and are working for the OSS.

So I met this girl who worked at starbucks, and I worked up the courage to ask her on a date after a couple of conversations at the register. She was a month older than me but I didn't really care, she was fun to be around. So we took a walk along the beach, and we kissed in the pale moonlight, a full moon, it was really romantic. We started really getting into it, and she slowly unzipped my jeans, she reaches inside and starts kissing her way down my chest, she finally gets all the way down, looks up at me with the most seductive eyes I've ever seen and says "No thanks, I had Reese's for breakfast" and I'm like "No way, you had candy for breakfast?" She replies, "Not candy! Reese's puffs cereal!" So she sliiiiides me a bowl. I crunch into it and WHAM! My mouth goes crazy! That smooth combo of peanut butter and chocolate-y taste attacking my taste buds! She zips my pants back up and says "And it's part of this complete breakfast!"
