Okay, so I know the show finished years ago, but there's still heaps of obsessives out there, and this? Oh, yes, this must bring forth the LOL somewhere. Right? Right?

You know, I don't so much have a problem with someone sleeping with a person they're not attracted to... it happens all the time for all sorts of reasons. It's just that every one of those reasons makes somebody look bad. He wants to dodge that issue-- because Buffy's really actually attracted!-- just like he wants to dodge the issue of Buffy being bi-- because she's young, and it won't be a life change!

"Experimenting" fixes a whole bundle of problems, it seems.

I am honestly surprised at the amount of bother there is about this. Pah, oh well. I still like Buffy, I still like Joss (even if I still think Willow's technically bi), and I'm still waiting for Dollhouse.

I don't understand the huge amount of controversy this is causing. Sometimes people do in fact experiment with their sexuality. Sometimes people go "hm, that guy/girl is kinda hot, even though I'm not really into guys/girls, I wonder..." and then they try it out and figure out if it is something they enjoyed or not.

Hell, I'm more offended (as far as I can be offended by people's overreactions to a comic book) by the people that are saying it would be "better" if it was two guys doing it.

Personally, my problem with yet another lesbian subplot for Joss is that he actually cheated the audience a lot with the gay subtext (I heard there was an interview where he said that he hadn't decided which Scooby would be gay before settling on Willow, which makes no sense as all the gay subtext had been for Xander so far except for the Vamp!Willow episode) and then with Spike and Angel who get a mention on the DVDs but not on the actual show.

And let's not go over Xavin on Runaways.
