Knights of the Old Republic players?
A friend of mine is looking for more information on the force bond from KOTOR that Batila creates with Revan. He's checked the Wookieepedia and elsewhere, but hasn't found the information he needs.

Are there any sites that talk about it in-depth or anything? (It would be so much easier if they just did a novelization like with Shadows of the Empire and The Force Unleashed.)

I found information on it in the Wookieepedia, what exactly is he looking for that isn't there?

"It was also said that moments of death, or near-death, might cause such bonds.[2] That was the case of Bastila Shan and Revan who developed their bond when she used the Force to preserve his life following Malak's betrayal, two years after the beginning of the Jedi Civil War. "

You mean like about how it actually works? I have a friend who's a huge KOTOR fan that I can ask, but I'm guessing what's on Wookiepedia is going to be the most you'll find.

What type of information is he looking for specifically? 'Cause the game doesn't go very far in depth.

There really isn't much canon information on their force bond or force bonds in general. Wookiepedia is probably the best source you'll find even though it tends to get filled with a lot of popular fanon that some fans just won't let go. (Electric Judgement being a lightside power for instance the insider was clear Plo just used plain old Force lightening and the council was cheesed at him over it.)

Any specifics onthat ear are just now really getting knailed down with the Knights of the Old Republic comic and since it's set currently a few years before the game it'll be awhile before any potential information on Bastilla and Revan's relationship shows up. If the comic ever chooses to show Revan in more than a background role.

Did they ever say if Revan is guy or gal? I also play Revan as a gal but..

Revan is canonically male apparantly.

Er according to the Wookieepedia entry about him, and I wasn't too curious to go digging for me since in MY games Revan will always be female.

I thought the default in KOTOR 2 was LS female?

Revan is LS male, the Exile is LS female. Apparently.

I always thought that should've been reversed. But hey, what do I know. ;)

I never really cared about Revan's gender as both stories were pretty equal in terms of content and quality but making the Exile a female was always a mistake to me. Micah was insanely irritating and the fact that his inclusion is now Canon instead of Brianna is a pain.

Though the one thing I liked about Revan being set as male is now I can make jokes about Gotab/Medrit following in Canderous footsteps as I am convinced Ordo was in love with Revan and crushed that he got left behind.

FAIL.

I knew this already, but it has to be repeated

Wookieepedia's Force bond-article links to two pages about a Force-bond between non-KOTOR characters, but I'm not sure how trustworthy they are. It's probably better to stick to Wookieepedia.

Off-topic, but the name Wookieepedia is just freaking awesome.
