	If someone did all of DN like this, it would actually make the series worth watching. At least for a while. I wish I could find a good term for what happened to Death Note in my eyes. It didn't jump the shark, but the quality did rather take a dive when it was pretty clear that it was being extended far past where a good story would have ended. (Reply to this)(Thread)

My problem with it so much wasn't that it wasn't interesting, but after a (short) while it ~really~ should have ended. It was clear (to me anyway) that the mangaka was just making shit up left and right to extend it. So while it was initially kind of nifty to me to see the cat-and-mouse thing going on, it just dragged on and on and on and on until I didn't really care what happened anymore and then dragged on more until I actively disliked it and put it down without finishing.

	See, I thought it was interesting but the whole L and Light trying to one up each other was getting annoying. "Well I can say this and he'll think this or say this and he'll think that or maybe he wants me to say this so I'll say that." "Actually you said this so I thought that and made you say this."
