Fandom term?
I vaguely remember there being a fandom term for this, but I may be imagining it. If there's not, there needs to be.

What do you call a snarky "correction" that's actually very stupid? I'm thinking in the context of a sporking, but maybe the term is broader. An example containing two-fold stupidity would be a sporker making a snide comment about how kissing for hours is impossible because people have to breathe.

But that's just a general term for writing MST fics. I'm looking for the term for stupid snark in a MST fic (or sporking, or fanficrants post, or whatever).

I think 'Crow' is used when there're being too many double entendres, and that it's frowned upon to snark too much at bad spelling/grammar punctuation, because it's lame to mock those, but that doesn't stop some people from making MSTs in which there is nothing but spelling/grammar/punctuation remarks.

Not funny?

Seriously, I don't know if there's a term, but it's irritating as hell.

I see "The more you know!" used in conjunction with this sort of thing an awful lot, but usually only after correcting the initial "You're wrong because (insert stupid reason here)" person.

And Something Awful made some icons for this kind of situation. There's an :eng101: icon of a happy face in a graduation cap with a lecture stick. When it started to be used for wrong corrections, someone uploaded a similar version only the lecture stick droops.
