The character I'm working with is from Argentina (b. ~1935), well-educated and wealthy. So, I assumed he would speak more formally, even using "vulgar" terminology.
Believe it or not, it's for a Flying Nun fic I'm working on. Depending on which version of canon you go with, Carlos RamÃrez is either from Puerto Rico or Argentina (where Alejandro Rey was from), and I'm going with the latter.
