Role Play Anyone?
So I have this idea for a game but I'm unsure if only someone like myself (a huge history geek) would like. Basically I've set up an original RPG on a pro-board of an RPG that takes place during the Boshin war of Japan. Since y'know you've got plenty of samurai fighting each other along with some assassins and possibly ninjas thrown in. Realistic as one can be however, so no magic or mutants and the like. So basically it be a pan-fandom, AU, with some RPF thrown in (since you can play historical figures too) along with original characters.

The game will begin in Kyoto, Japan on January 25th 1868. The Tokugawa Shogunate is in its death throes after ruling for 260 years. Emperor Mutsuhito, only sixteen years old is stepping into the role of being the leader of Japan. However the flares of conflict are still roiling and Japan must involve itself in one last war before the new age can begin. "The Year of the Dragon War" or "Boshin War" is about to begin.

This game will be pan-fandom and realistically based. No magic, paranormal abilities or mutants exist in this world. This is a good old fashion human conflict that won't need fantastic attachments to be interesting.
