	I want the old bridge too. Make it cleaner, add some accents and screens that actually work, maybe even make it so the buttons aren't quite so obviously gumdrops and lucite... But god DAMNIT, Abrams. You had a blueprint, you had a well-documented look. Why couldn't you TRY to follow it? (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Yeah. It's a nice set, and it looks Trek-like, but not Kirk-Trek-like, if that makes sense -- the color scheme is too cool. (Heck, I even think I could buy it if it wasn't the Enterprise -- if it was another Federation starship in the same era, I could buy that the bridge design looked different, and I can forgive wanting the screens to look functional, but the colors are all wrong.)
