Eureka fanfic help?
Hi, all -

After paying only mild attention for the last few years (an episode here, one there, bits and pieces...) I've absorbed Eureka all in one swell FWUMP by watching the DVDs until all hours at every spare moment.

So I went looking for fic, but I'm not having much luck finding a good variety....can anyone help with favorite recommendations?

I'm open to just about anything. I'm particularly interested, though, in finding some that is NOT Jack/Nathan....the reason being, it's so dang easy to find! I'm enjoying what I've found, but it seems that's just about all I CAN find, and there's more I'd like to see.

As Mister Terrific will tell you, I'm a particular fan of hurt-comfort, whumping, medical-detail stuff, that kind of thing.

Really, recommend me anything you've particularly liked. (Even Jack/Nathan.) Jack/Allison, Jack/Henry, Fargo/Taggert, Zoe/S.A.R.A.H, Gen, Het, slash, hurt-comfort, MPREG, I'll read it!

Thanks so much from the bottom of my fevered, fanfiction-deprived brain.

If you're a Doctor Who fan (and you're fully caught up on all the latest Eureka episodes), really have got to read this crossover. It is short, but made of win. :D

Oh, definitely made of win. Nathan Stark, companion. That has possibilities.

There's a nice chunk of gen fic over at the Eurekathon community on LJ.

This is one of the reasons why she's desperate for fic--because I give her stuff like this:

Jack Carter could have easily thought of a hundred things he'd rather be doing than this current task. Fifty, definitely. But Alison had asked him to assist her in disposing of Nathan Stark's possessions, and those deep dark eyes were utterly irresistible.

Most of the things were easily dealt with, but there a few small, personal items that Stark had actually bequeathed to specific individuals. The final recipient was none other than Douglas Fargo. Alison smiled at the young man as she took the final box from Carter's arms. "Fargo," she said, "I want you know how grateful I am that you've been so dedicated to preserving Nathan's memory. He thought a great deal about you and I'm sure he'd be touched by your actions."

"Yeah, for feeding his ego even more," Carter muttered under his breath.

"Anyway," Alison continued, pretending not to hear, "...well, I know it's a bit unusual, but Nathan wanted you to have something personal. It's not much, but..." She smiled bravely and shrugged. "Well, who could ever tell what was going on in Nathan's mind?"

Fargo eagerly opened the box and retrieved the contents: an electric shaver and a high-tech beard trimmer. "Wow," he said reverently.

"Well, you know how fastidious Nathan was about his appearance," Alison said.

"Yeah, maybe when you start shaving you can use them, Fargo," Carter noted. He yelped as Alison drove her right hell into his foot.

"He wanted you to have something personal to remember him by," Alison told the awestruck Fargo.

"Yup, and they're all yours," Carter added, rubbing his foot. "The razors of the Lost Stark."

I know that someone(s) in my giant random heap o'bookmarks has been writing Eureka, but I can't find it right now. However, since I have no fingernails left to gnaw, I'll spend tomorrow going through the mess and see what I can find.

There are arguments that I should go in and clean up my bookmarks. I wonder if I can hire it out?

Rainewynd's Eureka List (top three items on the page)

All delicious results for fanfiction+eureka>/a> (as I'm sure you've checked, but this is also for later ref. for me)

I still have two other piles of archive links to check, but I have to go make coleslaw first.
