Basic Cable Personality Clash Skirmish '09
So it all starts when CNBC's Rick Santelli "bails out" of going on the Daily Show last Wenesday. Jon Stewart then goes ahead and talks about the "great financial advice" CNBC gives for 8 minutes.

It would have ended there but Jim Cramer of CNBC's Mad Money had to say something and Stewart decided to "apologize" in his own way.

And then when Jim Cramer ran off to do talkshows, Stewart goes to Dora.

Considering who's supposed to be the guest on Thursday, I need to buy some popcorn.

Edit: Jon's getting ready for war while Colbert bets on Cramer.

That man is like fandom_wank with a TV show. Half his job is just picking out the right news clips and going "...do I even need to say anything here?".

I like to think of The Soup (and The Dish) are like f_w on TV as well.

Thanks, Dora!

This would be a bad time to admit that the only Spanish I know is names of foods and Nuyorican/Dominican cuss words wouldn't it.

Well, I was quibbly because technically Pendejo means "pubic hair" but jackass is pretty much appropriate to the usage. XD

I desperately want Stephen Colbert to randomly show up and make the other look like jackasses.

Then my life would be complete.

Cramer is like one of these punching bags that just keeps coming back to get pwned again. Unfortunately, eventually he's going to realize that he simply can't win against Stewart and will quietly slink off in well deserved humiliation. Hopefully to another job.

The Dora bit was awesome.

For those of us that are playing in Canada, what date did these clips run so we can look them up on The Comedy Network?

Now all we need is for Colbert to mobilize his internet army against Cramer and it will be perfect.

If Jim Cramer wasn't acting so butthurt about Jon Stewart's comments that pretty much had nothing to do with him *to start with*, then you know, Jon Stewart wouldn't be mocking him. Oh wait, it really is like a RL fandom_wank.

Oh, I knew when Cramer showed up on The Colbert Report last week that Cramer was feeling butthurt o'plenty. I didn't expect all the glorious goodness from Jon Stewart that's followed, though. Thursday night cannot get here soon enough. ♥!

Oh my Go I hadn't seen that last clip you linked to yet because I've been too busy to download my daily TDS fix but OMG THAT IS AWESOME. Jon is the king of PWNAGE. I'm making all my friends watch it, even those who don't watch TDS and have no idea what this is about, because it's just that awesome.

Jon's so sexy when he's catty <3

And I can't wait for Thursday.
