Oh dammit, he was so good with the singing and the way he took a small part and really found depth in it. RIP.

Heart disease at 33? That's so sad. I'm praying for his loved ones.

33? Shit. One of the few people I liked about Angel.

D: Man. That is way too young to go. He played a fantastic character, and he will most certainly be missed.

Lorne! :(

Man, he's only a couple years older than me. That's so sad. RIP, Host. Continue being awesome in the afterlife.

Dammit.

I did a couple of shows that Andy was at. Never handled him but he was wonderful to everyone and took the time to let you know that he appreciated that you watched him on TV or came to his cabarets.

That does explain why I hadn't seen him on the circuit recently.

He was very friendly and welcoming to fans every time I met him. This is really sad.

I don't even have words. Lorne was just about my favorite character in the whole Buffy/Angelverse.

RIP Andy.

Ditto. What sort of a world is it where Fred continues to live and Lorne is taken from us?

Well, to be fair, Fred's dead. Thank god.

*refuses to read the comics*

No love for the Fred? D'aw. She and Lorne were both my favorites on Angel.

I heard this last night, and was crushed. My husband met him at a con, and said he was one of the nicest, sweetest guys you could ever want to meet. I loved his character. In some parts of the internet, I've used Lorne's "This is beyond my ken... and my Barbie and all my other action figures" quote as my sig line, and when my husband told him that he actually got excited and was flattered.

My prayers go out to his loved ones and friends. He'll be deeply missed.

This is truly a tragedy. :(

I wish I had more eloquent words. And a more sensitive icon, but this is probably my least snarky one.

There go my distant dreams of a Buffy/Angel revival seeing the return of Lorne (and Fred and Tara). :[
