Sailor Moon fandom
... So where's the good Sailor Moon fandom? I'm trying to avoid two poles: "Batshit-insane-Usagi-Kou" and "Full-of-semi-literate-people". The Pit, though not bad for some fandoms, isn't looking too promising for this fandom.

I'm particularly interested in good Haruka/Michiru fanworks (and trawling through DeviantArt is turning up some gems on that front, I must admit). Anyone got any recs, links to archives, a recommendation for an LJ community... anything?

Ta muchly!

I don't know about fic, but most of the best parts of Fandom for me have been playing in the RPG comms.

If you're a ficcer with fan senshi, you might be interested in COSMIC, which is struggling to begin anew since most of the old fics vanished with the original founder, Scorpio.

I'm SailorAnubis there.

Well, some parts of A Sailor Moon Romance have been rescued and revived. Like the Pit, though, you can't be sure of quality. (Although I do recall finding some real gems here back in the day.) Bunny's Tour Through the Silver Millenium also has a fanfic archive.

Sadly, most of the good fics that I remember have disappeared from the internet.

As for fanart... Ginzuishou Plus! is still around (although no longer being updated), and you can find some nice stuff at SailormoonFanart.Net, which is still updated, although not very frequently.

The first chapter of the first fanfic I ever wrote when I was 13 years old is still on moonromance.net. If that's not an indicator of quality, I don't know what is!

On this note, do any H/M fans know what happened to hamena.org? It used to be a HUGE resource for H/M fanfiction but it disappeared off the internets awhile back and a bunch of the authors posted there exclusively.

For H/M fic I suggest looking up an author named "Saun" - the Pit has the toned-down versions, but I think you should be able to find the orginals elsewhere with a little luck.
