Canada's Worst Handyman
Does anyone here watch it? After this week's episode, I went in search of possible wank and drama, and a place to discuss the show that isn't Discovery.ca's interesting comment page. Then I found nothing of the sort, at least, nothing worth writing home about.

As for my thoughts on yaoi... Andrew Younghusband continues to alternate between amusing and needlessly assholish, and more so than ever this year, I just have to wonder whether or not some of the contestants are deliberately being idiotic in order to screw with the judges' minds. Also, none of the nominator/nominee duos since CWH 2 have ever been as epic (and epically whiny) as Jaime and Sheilla, and that disappoints me.

Oh! Oh!

I watch this with my son. But only occasionally. We caught a couple of episodes the other night. (Sunday, maybe?)

My thoughts on yaoi yuri: I could watch Gail Prosser-Craig wield power tools and be bossy and competent All. Day. Long.

This show kills me dead, I can't watch while eating for fear of choking with laughter/sheer disbelief. The duos this season seem pretty vanilla (re. Sheila: I almost had to stop watching that season, she was...special) but it'll be worth keeping up with this season to see if Johnny ever. actually. does. something. :E

Oh! I think he actually successfully installed his toilet last week!

I love that show (but I like Worst Drivers better). So far I like the Season 3 cast the best but I'm still liking the new season (I like the experts they have this year, I dislike it when they have a decorator as an expert).

btw, does anyone know what Brian P. said to get kicked off the show last week? We here figured it must have been really bad since Eric was on his side before whatever happened and then he too turned against Brian P.

The episode I saw showed him trying to quit because he wanted to learn how to use the OMG Big Saws right this very minute. And he was arguing with the host about it, right outside Eric's room? - and Eric stuck his head out and told Brian P. to shut the hell up and go to work.

I think.

No, that was the other Brian, who actually seems to have improved since then.

I did a search for it, but all I could find was this from Wiki:

As the handymen break for lunch, the handymen all criticize Brian M's style of leadership: though Brian M tries to carry a positive attitude, everyone else criticizes him for interfering too much with their assigned tasks. Over lunch, it gets to the point where Brian P, to his face, mutters a threatening statement that is only stated as being "inappropriate for a Discovery Channel show about home renovation". The comment is not taken lightly by the other four contestants, who all agree that he had crossed the line.

It doesn't look like anyone's got specifics yet. Although if whoever answers this can cite their source, it might be worth looking into.

I was trying to find something on that too... I'm thinking it must have been some kind of graphic threat of bodily harm or something, seeing as everyone on the show up to that point swore and fought like drunken sailors throughout entire episodes.

If anyone is interested in checking out the show you can stream the eps here. You might have to be in Canada to do this, though I'm sure someone will find a way around that.
