Possible outing over at Marvel?
I don't follow comics much but since gay/bisexual canon characters tend to be of general interest, I redeem this worth sharing.
Apparently two of the lesser known Marvel characters, Shatterstar and Rictor, were recently featured re-uniting and kissing (the issue in which this happened was X-Factor #45).
From ONTD: Rob Liefeld, one of the Shatterstar's creators, has his panties in a bunch.
Quote: “… I have nothing against gays, I have gay family, nuthin’ but love here,” he wrote on his message board (registration required). “Ditto gay characters if that’s what their true origins are.
“As the guy that created, designed and wrote his first dozen appearances, Shatterstar is not gay. Sorry. Can’t wait to someday undo this. Seems totally contrived.”

Later he added, “Shatterstar is akin to Maximus in Gladiator. He’s a warrior, a Spartan, and not a gay one.”
The response by ONTD is largely "LOL Rob Liefeld".
