Okay, I've seen a number of book rec posts here every now and again, so I was wondering - is there a community (either on LJ or JF - or both) that specializes in people asking for book recs (on fiction or non-fiction)? If there were something like that, it'd be great to see what people thought were good reads on any given topic.

	This isn't exactly what you are asking for, but LJ has a community called "whatwasthatbook" to identify books based on description if you've forgotten a title. (For some reason, my code isn't showing up, but the URL is: http://community.livejournal.com/whatwasthatbook.) I've found a few good reads just browsing through there. (Reply to this)
