I love the costume designs myself- they're reminiscent of Goggle V and Dynaman and have a very retro feel to them. I was never able to get into Shinkenger (I gave up 3 episodes in; while it has some beautiful visuals and designs I found none of the characters likable), so I'm hoping this one's better.
