Twitter! What are you doing! I had to write about my paladin princess first dnd character! My thoughts on the x-men! Videogames!

First it showed me a hosting page instead of twitter.com, then it showed me a bunch of arabic writing, THEN it showed me the writing with a big green flag with red arabic writing on it.

And now it's not loading at all.

edit: Okay, now in english it says it's been hacked by the iranian cyber army. Okay then. What?

Edit 2: Incidentally, don't go look at twitter.livejournal.com It... it doesn't lead to anything twitter related. Sort of.

Edit 3: I ran the text through my wee little browser translator and got this:

بنام خدا
به عنوان یک ایرانی در پاسخ به دخالت های شیطنت آمیز این سرویس دهنده به دستور مقامات آمریکایی در امور داخلی کشورم )
این سایت به عنوان هشدار هک می شود

becomes

Called God as an Iranian response to this intervention sly server ordered U.S. authorities in the internal affairs of my country) this site as a warning to Hk

My translator doesn't like to make much sense.

edit 4: An screencap of the page and an explanation: Nameservice hack. Everyone return to their homes. Nothing to see here.

edit 5: Solarbird on LJ does some plucky girl detective work. There's some whois info. Fun!

Okay, bed. May I wake up to a working twitter.

OH my yes. Partner just dug a little, trying to look up Twitter's nameservers, and she got different host info and everything. Somebody's pulled off a nameservice hack. JOY!

Ah! I will put that in, for the sake of feeling like a plucky reporter and stealing your hard work.
