aaaand ew.
Okay, so, like.

Has anyone else ever skipped out of joining a comm because of another user's histrionic wankery/drama-llama-like tendencies? Yeah, I know, lol sensitive, but seeing as this ... snowflake of the most special order is convinced that I am stalking her and out to destroy her and everyone she holds dear and will spin out her sob story at the drop of a hat?

Yeah. I got nothing besides 'what the fuck is the matter with people'. I really don't have any desire to tip off another fit of her squawking at anyone who happens to be on my FL because, oh em gee, they're totally my SPIES, y'all, can't'cha see that everyone is out to get her.

Just. What in fuck. My brain stings hardcore.

I think I may know who it is you're talking about.

Y. It's even worse when said drama-llama tendencies are coming from the mod of said comm. :(

Oh ew.

Nobody has, IIRC, been senseless enough to grant this thing any formal authority, but I've seen more than a few people just bend over rather than be subject to her insane-assed verbal abuse and harassment,

Yuck. Sounds like the Geek Fallacy, especially if this happens to involve a fandom. Best of luck dealing with Miss Thang.

Yeah. it's the geek fallacy, completely. People just sort of allowed her to harass and bully whoever she pleased and I admit to going, 'okay, okay, maybe it'll bow over--' And then it got to be too much and I unloaded the full FOAD salvo.

When she blocked me off her contact list and claimed I never tried to apologize - which, uh, I did, I know I was a dick - I went 'lol cry moar' and wrote her out of my life. But she insists on thinking that every reference I ever made in BRPS (before I left the comm) was a sekrit coded thing about her.

Unless she randomly turns into a Typemoon Fanboy by night -

Ahem. :B sorry.

Nah, it's okay. I feel like I should be charging you $10 an hour and there should be some sort of couch involved, but the entertainment value alone is priceless. :D

YES. Though only when it's been the mod that's doing the wanky drama-llama riding. Crazy regular members I can deal with, drama-rama mods I cannot.

Thinking further, I've also opted not to join certain fests because they were being run by hysterical mods, even if the exchange looked fun in theory. It's sad to say, but there are times when even porn is not worth having to deal with the periodical modly outbursts.

Dear this-type-of-mod, the community is not your personal journal, the member list is not your friendslist.
