Dear Ryan Sohmer:

This is how you write a fantasy webcomic that actually treats its female characters like people and not vehicles for the male ~~author's~~ characters' desires. By the way, it also manages to be funny and epic without breaking its own rules and spiraling into meandering, Robert Jordan-like plots.

No kidding. Even taking away the sandworm BS, lately it's been the "Oh Look, Richard's Doing Something Wacky With Body Parts" show. It used to be funny; now it's just dull.

And seriously, creators, I don't care that Benny and Cale are fucking. No really, I don't. Yes, okay, another shot of her waking up naked next to him. Yes, I get it. Fine. Just let her do something besides standing on the sidelines worrying about the stupid elf.

Blech. Apologies. I guess this has been bothering me more than I realized.

the "Oh Look, Richard's Doing Something Wacky With Body Parts" show

Admittedly I've never read the comic, but the way the fans seemed to worship Richard's ever-so-clever douchebaggery was a major sign to me the comic would head down that road, if it hadn't already. (The "dickrolled" comic that everyone seemed to think was the coolest thing ever being a huge example of this.)
