A friend of mine recently told me about this Zombie Wank. Ah, T-wank. It's been forever and a day.

Anyhoo, I thought I'd provide the proof seeing as the woman in question didn't do so (links provided for contextual reading). Boldface is mine.

Lifts lines uncredited from the poem and puts them straight into the story, with no acknowledgement of the source or indication that the material is not her own. Looks a hell of a lot like plagiarism to me.
Why am I so very *not* surprised it's a Harry Potter writer?

One of their most popular authors has lifted pages, verbatim, from a published author, as well as constantly "borrowing" (without acknowledgement) lines from various TV shows, and the fandom hasn't even had the self-discipline to ostracize her. It's unbelievably lame.

If Rowling herself has lifted material verbatim from other sources without making it clear it's not original, I'm not aware of it.
Also, one would tend to feel that anyone who's managed to get through high school without learning basic standards of intellectual honesty doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Yes, this proves she never said "all HP fans are plagiarists" (at least not in this infamous conversation). However, it also proves that she is an overbearing, obnoxious twit who made judgmental generalizations that offended a lot of people in HP fandom.
