[rant]
A letter to certain fans of certain fangirls...
For the love of all that is sane and at least moderately prideful (not something that exists in the HP fandom very often), please cease making up reasons to kiss up to the "BNF" writers. It's embarrassing and painful to watch, and I very nearly lost my breakfast this morning when I read it. Yeah, so they've got talent, but most of it is spent on porn instead of crafting plots any more.
Are things in this fandom so very dead that you need to make a public and nauseating plea for specific types of wildly OOC fic? If that's the case, I think I'm going to trade my HP fandom card in for something else. Something with more sanity. Like maybe the Orlando Bloom girls.

I feel better now. No names or links (to minimize dwama), but I'm sure there must be one or two people out there who know what I'm talking about.
