"'Asexual' does not mean what you think it does" and other orientation wank.
Props to the mouse on [info]wank_report who served this up.

Over at the SuperHeroHype Boards, sebita, an RPer who plays as Mystique, asks if Mystique should be classified as bisexual, given that she's been shown to assume both male and female forms and have sex with both.

Think you know where this is headed? You'd be right.

Mightiest Mortal gets the wank started with this nugget 'o wisdom: "Nope she can't cos true Bisexuals don't exist. All the girls end up being straight and all the guys end up being gay. Thas Life." An enlightened POV the OP seems to share. (She also seems to have a shaky grasp of what "Asexual" means, as well.)

We also have at least one poster who think Mystique has no set gender, therefore is anything "she" wants to be. (Never mind that several flashback stories have depicted young Raven Darkholme as female and when a transformed Mystique is knocked out she reverts to the blue skinned female form. Not to mention her two biological children...)

In short, it devolves into one big pile of name calling and pontificating on homosexuality's origins (read: screaming about how Gays choose to be gays.)

Not too long, but fun!
