Over on spn_brotherlove-- which, despite the name, is not for that kind of brotherly love-- forcryinoutloud is wondering why Wincest is being posted. Fair enough. But then lia_van_helsing and her icons have something to say:

I agree. I'm tired of being blindsided by it. It's nauseating and loathsome in the extreme. Not to mention morally reprehensible.

Wincest turns people into sex offenders, it's all the writers' fault, and she's not the one being wanky. Also, she and her icon are not anti-slash.

Small but concentrated wank, like the finest perfume in all the land.

The writers need to take responsibility too. For what they put out. It certainly has an effect on people and the world.

How the hell can I be responsible for how an individual reacts to my work if I couldn't possibly KNOW how any one person will react? Just like how I can't know that a kidnapping scene will bring flashbacks to a kidnap victim, I can't know that an attempted murder will inspire someone to murder. I'm not psychic.
