Who says Buffy fandom's dead and buried...?

'cause it's just like those vampires -- they're back and wankier than ever!

Let's trace the steps:

  1. Jennifer-Oksana goes to San Diego Comic Con.
  2. The Angel panel is filled with people asking about Buffy, Spike, and one woman taking 10 minutes to ask the Angel writers (a fair amount who haven't worked on Buffy at all) about the attempted rape in "Seeing Red".
  3. Jen comes home from the con, and Jen complains
  4. People like her complaining.
  5. Jen gets an idea, and starts a list devoted to Angel without Spike talk.
  6. People join.
  7. Jen is amazed and starts a community.
  8. People join.
  9. Jen gets wind of people who think she's being a raving anti-Spike fanatic, no better than the "Spikemafia" she keeps complaining about.
  10. Jen complains some more.

Ah...being labelled "anti-Spike". That little witch hunt of wanky goodness has been going on in one from or another for the past five years...
