Thanks for the notice. Sorry about my cluelessness.

Should I delete this thread?

Don't delete the post, but you could edit it to say something like, "Whoops, already posted in [info]otf_wank! Check it out." That'd, um, make you less likely to be mocked and/or prevent repeat convos here. :)

I think those machines (they are real, right?) are cruel to animals and laziness for people who can't be fucked to potentially get scratched, bitten or chase a soap-covered wet cat around the house but I don't feel like hearing about anyone who's on my side of the fence being a screeching negative-attention whore.

Dude, you're not alone. I looked at that thing and thought there's no way a professional (who isn't a moron, anyway) would treat an animal like that - the cat was terrified and could have hurt itself badly. Shit, is it so hard to raise a cat with gentle baths from kittenhood so it gets used to them? (The answer would be no, by the way). It's just hard to believe that thing's real (except as a torture device).

My favorite part of the wank is from the comments on YouTube:

jonimnormal: due to its limited understanding of what was happeneing i would say the cat felt the same way as the jews felt in the gas chambers.

Lol, kittiez!

The phrase "limited understanding" makes me picture a cat thinking "Well, I'm being given a bath by a machine, but I'm not sure if this is my owner's way of telling me I rolled around with the dead raccoon for too long, or if I was just a convenient puss for some publicity stunt..."

I mean, shit. The cat has zero understanding of what's happening, I would've guessed.

The fact that a cat macros wank exists just made my week, possibly my whole month although it doesn't last much longer.

Ah internets, it's only funny until you realize they're all dead serious.
