So, a week ago, we were graced by a DNA facial centered around 10K Commotion. It wasn't a particularly big one, though TWS did get a revenge comic out of it.

And all was good for a while. Not anymore.

The 10K chick is learning what true mockery feels like now.

I sort of feel bad for her--if I were ALoD'd, I might have to take down my site from the bandwidth and trolling.

ETA: Well, that was quick. It's been down since noon.

ETA2:It's back up as of midnight Eastern time.

Oh man... yeah, I do feel a little sorry for her because getting linked by SA pretty much GUARANTEES your site's gonna choke from all the bandwidth, and troll infestations aren't much fun at all, but at the same time, that's just too freakin' funny.

I wonder if she checked her referral logs and passive-agressively insulted emailed Lowtax in less than 10 minutes after the link was posted, just like she did back when [info]dawnswalker originally posted the link on TWS Support?

No joke. I'd actually extend it to the more frothing parts of the anime fandom as well.

I actually don't mind the art style of that comic, in a vacuum; it was the whiny passive-aggressiveness of the artist that got on my nerves, and the "SOB! I AM MY ART, DON'T YOU DARE NOT LIKE IT!" attitude.

Still. Um. I would like to see the "big meanies! *snif*" comic that gets made out of this.

If TWS got chapter 2.5 "dedicated" to them, SA's going to call for a Pity Comic spanning several such mini-chapters, or even a whole chapter itself.

Hee. While I'm glad the girl's been Awful Linked- poetic justice at it's most extreme!- the comments about webcomics in general aren't too nice. There are some nice ones out there, IMO.

I have to admit I'm not a fan of webcomics in general, but I have to agree with you: that was rather harsh. That being said, pride comes before a fall.

Still, is it at all possible that it was ALoD because of the TWS wank? It's not mentioned in the review, but it's a small world, and Website Incest does occur.

Well to be fair if you think of the types of webcomics the SA staff has to read for the site I can't blame them for being somewhat bitter about it.

Well I don't think TWS has enough fame to come to the attention of the SA people.

Honestly there seem to be tons of site dedicated to finding the creepy, disturbing and OMG WTF IS THAT sites on the web, I think TWS is just another face in the metaphoric crowd.

Considering that she cannot separate herself and her friends from the characters, she might. (Though a grain of negative wrapped up in eighteen tons of OMGUR0XOR might be her cup of bubble tea, considering how everything else has gone.)

Though that review... splurt indeed. I need to Windex the inside of my monitor after that.
