MORE Serebii wank
I don't even know what the fuck this is this time.

...okay. Apparently Joe of The zomg BESTEST POKEMON FANSITE EVAR has a sekrit Nintendo source that gave him the English names of the new Diamond/Pearl (henceforth "Diaper") Pokemon and he's been leaking them slowly. Which is to be expected; how else is he going to get people to visit his site?

Melkor, of some Spanish fansite had the names from a different source, but he and Joe apparently had worked out a deal to synchronise their leaks. Yay for collaboration.

Then someone posted all the names in one fell swoop on GameFAQs. Joe assumes it's Melkor. Somehow, Joe thinks this is "blackmail" and follows suit by posting all the names on Serebii, even though he promised his source he wouldn't, and acts like he was forced into it.

Chat logs exist.

Joe may leave fandom. Again. Stay tuned.

I lost a shiny Ralts once. I still get sad about that sometimes (Yeah, I know. I bring it up EVERY Pokemon wank. But Ralts are RARE, dammit!)

Joe: Finally, regarding matters with Serebii, I would like to remember you all that such blackmail he claims wasn't real at all, since he could have not published the names and let me assume all the responsibility against Nintendo if I had leaked all the names. Serebii still wanted to have the news, that's why he accepted the agreement, it's no my problem if he is so ambicious. Blackmail means having no choice but to do what I wanted, and he could not have done what I asked him. And yes, I did not leak the names myslef, I was forced to publish them after some people in GameFaqs began to report on them. Why should I leak them if I had agreed on such a pact?

Is it just me... or do a lot of those names seem... horrible? I mean some of the non-eevee evolutions' names end in 'eon'.

not that it'll keep me from getting it. i've always wanted to be a pokemon breeder and now i have a reason to be one! *geek*
