Wow. lierdumoa just jumps right in there, no questions asked. It kinda makes me wonder if she does that in real life. "OMG, RACISM!" It's much funnier to read her comment if you think about her getting her morning java and then trying to inspire the 'brown people' at Starbucks to throw off the chains of oppression. coniraya just loses for telling people to troll. And here I thought writers could write about whatever they wanted, and include whatever characters they wanted. If I write a story that doesn't involve Weir, Teyla, Cadman, etc, does that make me a woman-hater? I didn't read the story, but I can see Ronon as an awesome foil to McKay, as a barista. I liked the bit of, "I was overreacting 'cuz they overreacted, so it's okay!" And just because dude works as a barista doesn't mean he doesn't spend the rest of his time reading philosophy books and helping out at shelters for homeless people and kittens! Honestly, people leap to such conclusions. Who says a lab manager doesn't go home, pick up a hooker and beat the crap out of her?
