Michela Ecks/Laura runs the wiki FanHistory.com. There's a page for CSI Fandom about the ship Grissom/Sara and there is wank there, much of it in the recent history page.

As far as I can make out (because there is a tl;dr chatlog I scanned), a bunch of CSI fans were having a chat about fandom in their regular room. Michela made negative comments about the ship's PWPs, and the rest of the fans disagreed with her. Disagreement quickly became fighting.

This snippet is indicative of the whole. h20 equals water is Michela.

Then they got into a fight over rumours about the next season.

So, they all got into a big fight and Velocitybug told Michela to leave.

On April 13, Michela added a new section to the Sara/Grissom page about the chat mod: velocity bug/velocityofsound:

Some event connected to YourTaxDollarsAtWork caused the Sara/Grissom shipper velocityofsound to remove all her fan fiction from FanFiction.Net.

velocityofsound can be a polarizing figure in the Grissom/Sara ship. If you don't like her, don't praise her and her friends fic, don't agree with her opinions, she will freeze you out. She does this on bestkeptprivate by banning people who give critical feedback, and by creating new chat rooms if chatters in the weekly chat get on her nerves. She doesn't inform people that she is doing that. They are left to figure it out. It adds to the level of cliquishness in Grissom/Sara ship.

Velocity of Sound's friends apparently retaliated almost immediately:

Michela reverted this edit. So, Velocity of Sound's friends re-edit, this time with her whole curriculum vitae:

A lot of people have a problem with VelocityofSound. This comes as no surprise, since she is the head of several communities and also a BNF. Most people don't understand that acting as a mod means protecting the intrest of the majority, and that intrest sometimes causes minorities to be cut out of the loop. She is also wrongly blamed for many things such as trolling, which are, in fact, carried out by independant parties. She has never been linked to a trolling ring or had a sock journal.

Velocity does a lot of good for fandom. In addition to trying to control it when it seems to have gone FUBAR on several occasions, she has used her BNF influence to conrtibute to several charitable originizations, and has enriched the lives of many people.

When you find yourself on her bad side, ask yourself: what have I done? Because most likely, it is something YOU have done.

Michela reverts it again. Velocity's friends revert it to their version. Etc. Etc. At last, Michela bans the friends and puts up a new version.

A lot of people have a problem with VelocityofSound. She is a polarizing figure in this ship. In the past, when people have disagreed with her, VelocityofSound and her friends, which include sarah_christ, have trolled people's LiveJournals and attack them in bestkeptprivate's chat, posting streams of pictures and homophobic comments. VelocityofSound has also been known to use sockpuppets to engage in trolling on AIM and LiveJournal. To further fan the flames, she has posted to her LiveJournal several times in the past two years encouraging people to attack those who disagree with her. [4] Topics that she has attacked people over include spoilers, contract issues regarding CSI cast members, the attractiveness of Gil Grissom, characterization and fan fiction quality.

That [4] leads to the chat log that started it off. Velocity's latest reactions can be seen in the chat log (scroll to the bottom). She calls Michela a troll, and says she'll just ignore her. Her friends have come up with an original comparison for their experience.

	Most people don't understand that acting as a mod means protecting the intrest of the majority, and that intrest sometimes causes minorities to be cut out of the loop i'm pretty sure acting as a mod means preventing flaming and keeping the peace. or should i say "piece," because that's what my brain wanted me to type after reading her EXCELLENT spelling.
