I don't know what to say about people who want a guy to punch his mom in the tits.

Penny and Aggie is a webcomic about two teenage girls who hate each other and the various people that surround them. It's nearing the end of a rather unpopular storyline, in which Aggie's dad's girlfriend mistakes Penny for Aggie and wackiness ensues.

In the latest strip, Aggie's dad's girlfriend (Charisma) says some horrible things to her son (Marshall) in the heat of the moment after bad day. The forums went nuts. This thread is the longest single-strip thread on their current forums. Highlights include someone comparing Charisma's rant to a shooting spree in a coffeeshop, suggestions that Marshall punch Charisma in the tits or finally have sex with his girlfriend over this, implications that Marshall (who is a pretty cheerful dude) will kill himself over this, a mini-debate over whether Marshall should have been aborted, and amusingly strip-related Godwinizing.

Having been keeping up with that storyline, I can understand the impulse to want him to.

Marshall's not my kind of guy, really. I reserve my webcomic crushing for that huge girl over at Wapsi Square. She hasn't been around in ages, though.

Oddly enough, I got into the strip when the wanked last time. And that was the second time reading wank here got me addicted to a webcomic (I don't think I ever properly thanked y'all for QC...)

I read this comic daily, and despite some weird new things with the art (everybody's super-inflated lips and huge chests kinda grate on me the wrong way), it seems to improving far faster than the story and dialog. It seems more and more like a caricature of itself (and real people) every day.

Aw, manI've been reading Penny and Aggie since the "Marshall and Karen in the shower" wank; looking over the last several weeks' worth of comics, I think I get why people are upset with this plotline. I read all the previous comics (which were really good), and then the new ones (not so good). Essentially, their plotlines since then have been:

Michelle and Stan: Let's have sex!

Nick and Charisma: Let's have sex!

Karen: Why am I not having sex?

Nick: Maybe we should tell our kids we're having sex...

Aggie and Marshall: Ew.

Sara: I think Penny and Aggie want to have sex.

Charisma: Penny, me and your dad are having sex.

Penny: Awesome!

Karen: I think Penny wants Marshall's sex!

Aggie: I want Marshall's sex.

Penny: I have to go tell all my friends about my married dad's new girlfriend!

Nick: I am injured by the sex.

Charisma: MARSHALL, YOU RUINED OUR SEX!

Eh, I'd suggest looking even further back in the archives. One of my made-me-giggle strips came when Aggie, who considers herself a poet, head out to a nearby park to write, but was feeling pretty uninspired, so she simply wrote: "A tree/It be", called it a day and went home.

I've had days like that.

Okay, I finally finished reading the archives and am hooked. Partly because I love Gisele's art (unless it's being done by R.K.Milholland, in which case it sucks. There's a REASON I don't read S*P, and it's mainly because I can't stand his style).

Anyway, I really want to read some GOOD Aggie/Penny fic. Anyone? Please?

I wouldn't call this good, but it was the best I could come up with in ten minutes.

If the thought hadn't been put into her head for her, she never would have been dwelling on the possibility so much, and if she hadn't been dwelling on the possibility so much, she never would have started noticing all the little things about that annoying little rebel wannabe that she usually noticed in potential guys.

And noticing even more the things that guys would never have.

"Dammit," she muttered, raking her hands through her hair as she flopped back onto the bed. This wasn't fair. She wasn't supposed to be wondering about what it would feel like to be held by another girl. Or whether another girl's mouth would be that much different from a guy's.

Especially not her.

As she rolled onto her stomach and buried her face into her pillow, trying to purge the ideas from her head, a new thought popped up.

She was going to kill Sara tomorrow.

I've been following this comic, but this latest storyline is really dragging out -- they're entering the Megatokyo realm of extended storylines, only without the ninjas and robot girls.
