We got your comments RIGHT HERE.
So over in [info]housefic, we see that apparently [info]julia_bohemian is really tired of people not commenting on her fic.

She's so tired of it, that she opens her story with a : For the love of God, leave me a fricken comment. I know people are reading it. Stop lurking.

I'm certain you can all see where this went.

Highlights include the obligatory get in line comments, reasonable suggestions that go unheeded, and actual commentary on the fic itself.

Also to be found are the obligatory cursing and "I'M LEAVING FINE" commentary from the OP.

Not terribly huge but it appears to be growing. Not feeling very bohemian after all, are you Julia?

ETA:Looks like she bahleeted her journal but there is screencap evidence of the asshattery later on in the comments, although there is bonus "omg I am never writing again1!11one" over at TWoP. :-/ It's sad she doesn't want to play anymore.

I'm not particular about what people have to say (except for the obvious morons) But, I like some kind of feedback, as does everyone, I think.

Even if the feedback is "I'm too lazy to be buggered thinking up proper feedback?"

This chick ought to have "COMMENT WHORE" stamped on her forehead.

In my experience, any time an author demands people start commenting, it never ends well. :D

Nine times out of ten, when I see stuff like that and actually read the fic that prompted it? Dreck. Not to say there isn't excellent fic that gets ignored, because there is, but all too often, I want to tell these comment whores, "Honey, you don't want to know what I think of your story. Really."

Sure the tantrum is breathtaking, but that violent_rabbit character is getting on my nerves. Probably due to the mocking tone juxtaposed with the typo-riddled comments that, oddly enough, the OP seems not to call them on.

Mannn, every time someone on one of my flists goes all "Comment on my fics, you whores!!", I just want a mysterious void to open up and eat said author right out of their seat.

We can't comment, as we're busy being blinded by your inability to grasp the fact that no one cares after 40+ fics of the same old crap.

I love how she talks about how she's doing "damage control". Darling, the best way to do that would be to APOLOGIZE.

On a related tangent, I've been wondering if people would find a ticky box poll with one box at the bottom of a fic - you click when you've read and the author knows that someone read it but you don't have to be arsed to write a comment - to be as entitlewanky.
