CLAMP Wank? NEVER!
For a while now things have been fairly peaceful in the CLAMP fandom. Sure there have been minor fights here and there but nothing like the glory days of X when you couldn't go five minutes without a Seishirou/Subaru vs Kamui/Subaru fight.

However it's CLAMP, so of course things weren't going to remain peaceful.


For a while now the TRC fandom has been on the verge of fighting. Currently through a series of flashbacks, CLAMP has been showing us the past of the fandom's most beloved character, Fay D. Flourite and it's discovered that as a child he made a deal with the series' villain Fei Wong Reed to kill another main character, Kurogane. The Fay fans are quick to rally around their bishie turning their hatred towards Ashura-ou (who saved Fay as a child) because he made Fay remember his past and Kurogane because he defend himself against Fay's magic attack (Fay fans claim Kurogane attacked first).

Things start when a rant is posted to clamp_rants from someone who is tired of fans making Fay out to be a saint. That post doesn't start wank but it does prompt another rant, this time from a Fay fan, which is when the fun starts.

However, the wank has nothing to do the rant itself.

Now, I'm not exactly sure what started things since the first few comments are in Spanish but it's hard to miss the capslock and big text of I HATE SAKURA!! and which is quickly followed by:

Clamp are not good making female chars, the only ones I liek are Hokuto becasue she had 'cojones' and Yuuko becasue I like how she thinks... the rest are much better DEAD!

Which creates much fuss and after pointing out that some of the female characters act just the same as the male ones (and vice versa) it quickly boils to a wank on sexism.

Some choice moments from parts of the wank:

girls are 'friends' but can't not be fangirled

Cause if a guy is nice, noble, loved, good-looking, he's a hot bishie and everyone loves them. If a girl is like that, she's a stupid Mary-Sue.

If Kurogane raped Fay now, 99% of the fangirls would be SO happy

Do you have to lust a character to like them? O_o

OHHEYWAIT Mokona is also a girl! And she loves Fye, and Fye loves her. And she's magical and powerful and everyone loves her! GO ON. HATE HER. OHWAIT she doesn't have a vagina, she's safe.
