	I'm kind of amazed by people who didn't expect "...and they all lived happily ever after and raised rosy-cheeked little wizards. The End." Eh, I didn't mind the actual result--never had a problem with R/H, was quite taken with the idea of H/G for some time, but then actually thought Neville/Ginny would be cute. I just didn't like the actual scene itself.

I hesitate to make this comment, as I did read as fast as I can in order to be able to wander the internet freely, but the pacing of the book seemed slightly off, as though the skeleton of the plot--not to mention the sheer number of items to be resolved--were remnants of Rowling the less-experienced author. There were moments where she seemed to dwell in an odd fashion, particularly in light of the brief description of some other events, as though she truly wished she wasn't restricted by the requirement to "pay off" what had come before. Of course, I think Robert Jordan had this same problem and chose the opposite solution--trying to take his plot well beyond its original conception (I guess I should get around to reading Wot 11), and I prefer Rowling's method!
