Both Gay and Straight Gamers Like to Wank
GayGamer is a site that covers, you guessed it, news and stories relevant to the homosexual gaming population. Starting on Wednesday the site suffered repeated Denial of Service attacks and was eventually able to ban the IP that was causing them by Friday. Then on Friday evening the site's forums and chat room were flooded with more things meant to bog down the site, including hate speech, overlarge images and even death threats. This leads many to conclude that both the DOS's and the subsequent attacks are all part of one huge hate crime.

Kotaku and GayGamer have a history of sharing stories and working together. Flynn de Marco, who owns GayGamer, is also the weekend editor for Kotaku. Thus Kotaku decides to report about the attack.



Many of the comments express outrage over the attack and wish Flynn the best of luck in catching the culprit. Several others though question just why a site like GayGamer exists in the first place. Then there are discussions about what makes a site straight or gay, whether being gay is just like being black, if being gay is unnatural or not, homosexual penguins, men in thongs vs. booth babes, whether gay couples kiss in public just to get attention, if homosexuality is a choice or not, and comparisons to women wearing skimpy clothing who are just asking to be raped. There's also posts comparing homosexuals to pasta-lovers and Christian World of Warcraft guilds. And yes, Godwin's law is evoked on Page Two of the comments. Eventually one of the big joes at Kotaku, Ashcraft, shows up and brings his ban hammer along with him.

I never knew being born with a certain skin color was the same as being homosexual till I read some of the bright comments in this section. Having people hate you because of your skin color, I dare say, is different from people hating you because of the way you have sex.

I don't pretend to understand homosexuality but I do know that the two are fundamentally different.

OK, a few of you made some good points,especially Blaggers.But why is the site named gaygamer in the first place?Isn't that like asking for some hate?
I know that now gay people and not only them(with no offence intended)like to constantly remind other people that they are in fact gay or-insert opinion here-and that they are allowed to be and to show us all.You don't see straight people constantly reminding others that they are straight and guess what,no one attacks their sexual orientation.
I've seen countless gay couples in the cinema starting to make out not because they wanted to but to show us different people that they can do what ever they want because they can.
So my point is that the owner of the site and the site itself also has a blame in all this so all of you shouldn't just jump to conclusions.

I support the attacks. Homosexuality is a horrible illness and should not be using our innocent games to promote itself to spread further.
Just the very concept is stupid. You don't see any sites like "straight gamer". Sexuality and games itself is two completely different subjects also.

It seems that people like you just cant accept that alot of people are rightfully against homosexuality. If you are referring to nazism you surely prove to be just as bad yourself, claiming everything against your opinion is wrong or delutional.

There is a reason why homosexuals can not execute the perfect expression of love, which is creating a child together and passing on their bloodline. They are simply not meant to be together by nature.

Talking about maths, you simply can not ignore that humans has to have a loving relationship to raise a healthy child for approx 20 years into adulthood. It is not like tigers or polar bears where the male sperms in the woman and runs away.

I'm leaving this discussion now. Happy that someone has taken such a good stand against homosexuality. But I still do not believe in the way they did it.
I would much rather like that these people against homosexuality would organize and open their own sites instead of crashing others. Because by doing so you are robbing someone for freedom of speech.
But it is here I stand wondering maybe someone deserves to loose their freedom of speech, or certainly recieve great oposition once in a while. I don't believe in promoting sexuality, especially not a bad one as this.

If you hate teh gays, then I'd better not catch you jerking it to lesbian-themed porn. Not even if their kisses of passion extend their tongues deep into the other's throat. No matter how juicy those bosoms are and how effortlessly their nipples rise to attention when gently licked and subsequently stroked by a firm, but gentle hand.
It's still the gay, and you should be ashamed of glamorizing their sin with your wasted seed.
