It's of utmost importance for you to know what a pervert you are
Slightly stale and quite small wank from the Comic Book Resources forums, where I'm sure there's lots more wank I'm not planning to fish out. But this one felt kinda appropiate after Boldthrough.

More relevant: (?) my wife and I had a fight about this one time, shortly after we met. We have a certain amout of freedom when it comes to pointing out when someone around us is "hot", so it doesn't automatically get me in trouble if I point out a hot woman. I just don't need to over-do it.
Anyway, on one occasion, I pointed out that a 16-year-old step daughter of my cousin was "hot". Well then I got in trouble, because according to my wife, a 16-year-old has not mentally and emotionally developed to the point where they are prepared to have sex, and therefore I'm thinking about having sex in a disgusting predatory fashion. I then made the mistake of bringing out the "age of consent" thing, which was promptly shot down as "just because it's legal doesn't make it right", with cheating on one's spouse being presented as an example of something that is legal, but not morally right.
Somehow, I managed to escape the situation, although it was left a bit unsettled. A couple of weeks later, we were in a restaurant. She was sorta looking out into space, so I asked her what she was thinking of. She said that she was looking at the waiter. She thought he was attractive, but figured he was a little too young for her, and as a waiter probably didn't make enough money for her to feel comfortable dating him, and she wouldn't want to live in that town anyway.
I pointed out to her that she just spent 3 times a much time contemplating the situation than a guy does when he's looking at a woman. We pretty much stop at "attractive". We're not looking at an age, or a background, marital status, or how we might get along with the person, or anything. She's hot, or not. Now, if we go over and start talking to them, then we're making a committment that needs to be thought out. But just looking, not so much.
That pretty much set the matter to rest, because she assumed that if I thought the 16-year-old was hot, that I must be contemplating having sex with her, when in fact nothing of the sort was going on.

Sexy is sexy, pure and simple. Prince is sexy. Janet Jackson is sexy. Justin Timberlake is sexy. Scarlet Johanson is sexy. Being sexy is more than just dressing scantily or being a sex object. Sex is power. Sexiness its an attitude that carries its head high. Its about confidence and being secure in who you are, no matter how odd or how much of an outcast you may be. Andre 3000 is sexy, and he's nowhere near trendy or chic. He starts trends. (Heck, I'm damn sexy. And proud of it too. You should see my MySpace photos.) SG is a person growing into that mold, and this was what I was endorsing. That cutsie SG illustration doesn't command the same type of authority that the current SG does- and when I read an "S" character, I want a character that embodies strength and authority. Clark is sexy- it's part of his appeal. His ass and junk shows all of the time and his costume is far more revealing than Kara's. Just because Supergirl is a female, she can't embrace her sexuality?!? Now THAT is sexist.
