MMORPG Wank + Wiki Wank = Epic Wank
(This was brought up on Wank Report, but I'd been planning to write about it anyways, cause I've spent the past couple of days laughing at it)

So I play a little MMORPG called Final Fantasy XI, otherwise known as "The game that is NOT WoW". FFXI is an extremely community driven MMO, with a large and rabid fanbase surrounding it. All is fine in this little Utopia until hacker Taj uncovered some dirt on the Final Fantasy XI Wiki (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Main_Page, but it is currently down from teh hackingz). A few months ago, they started a pledge drive to raise some money for servers and such good stuff. A few months later, it is announced that the site would be merging with Wikia.

Now, this might of been taken ok, until Taj hacked into the wiki mod's accounts anduncovered that the money earned from the Fundraiser was spent by the admins on themselves, accusations of cheap t-shirts and mousepads, and the runners of the FFXIwiki earning up to $200,000 from the merger.

Users are not amused.
