It's the revenge of the entitlement h0rs!
We all remember this wank from August right? Well, apparently, just because GJ staff say we are working on GJ again means they can get their panties all up in a wanky knot again.

Choice comments are below and, as always, are full of wank.

Oh my god. Shut the hell up about the icons. You already get 100 for free, why do you need MORE? Just be happy they are trying to fix GJ so it's better for all of us to use. by [info]littlebitlouder

What parts are you working on? Exactly what definition of "soon" are you using?

...though I have to admit "just a quick update - we are working on GJ again yeah - including possible new code/hardware hopefully soon." is not the most useful or trust-inspiring System announcement in the history of blogging services.

While that style is good enough for offers of cheap fake Rolex, it's maybe not suitable for every social situation.

I do wonder how you can have 2000 expression/feeling. Unless you count "not very angry, angry, really angry, really really angry, mad, furious, seething, seething mad, furiously angry, kinda mad, kinda furious, enraged, infuriated, raging, fuming, outraged, livid, apoplectic, foaming at the mouth, seeing red,up in arms, irked, kinda *insert named synonym for angry* " as all different emotions that all need the same face with a different background and said emotion in shiny letters.

I remember in my first RPG, the lovely [info]penguinfaery made me a set of Quatre!mood icons. I was at a loss for what to name them all, and there were only like 40.

Dude, really, it's a miracle how you can even possibly manage 2000 icons. I have a permanent account over on InsaneJournal which allows me to upload 300 icons. As of now I've uploaded about 120 icons and I already have problems to manage these. *LOL*

The problem there really is that all those people got used to hoarding icons thousands at a time and then GJ cruelly made them cut it down to 100. I can't imagine how anyone actually used all of those thousands enough to merit complaining about the cutbacks; even in a ridiculously active RPG I use maybe 20 regularly enough to care about and the others are just there as alternatives.

2000 icons? Good gravy! I'm a permanent LJ member and I get I think 130 icons? And I haven't even gotten to 100.

FTR, I prefer diaf (die in a fire) to can go fall down a flight of stairs. It's catchier and makes a better acronym. :)

Though, besides the entitlement h0r issues, it sounds like GJ is having some serious problems.
